Yes, the deep ball can be easy to complete most of the time in NCAA Football 06, but the CPU has no trouble throwing deep balls on me either.
I can throw every type of defense at them and they can still compete them.
It is also not as easy to complete deep balls if you are going up against a great secondary.
It’s all situational!
That is why I don’t get too upset at deep balls in general since it goes both ways. Besides, look at some of the teams that throw the deep ball a ton.
Art Briles and Baylor throw the deep ball all the time and are very successful as doing so.
Should they stop throwing them because it’s too easy?
Unless you are literally conpleting 100% of your deep balls (hint: nobody does) then keep using them in your offense.
NCAA 06 is a video game and it will have things in it that are easier to do than others.
If you’re that hung up on how easy it is to throw deep, then just go Bill Walsh on every team you play with the West Coast stuff.
Hey, I’m wondering if you know how to QB scramble in NCAA 05? I love 06, but currently only have the ability to play 05. I can’t seem to figure it out, and I wish it were as simple as 06 where you just hold a button and go. Do you remember?

I think you have to toggle the passing icons but I’m not sure which button it is. Go to your control settings and it will tell you
Al, I’m having a hard time completing the deep ball lately. Should take less touch off the button….and I was told if u hold up the left thumbstick you can throw deeper… I’ve experienced some inaccuracy doing that tho. Thanks.
For deep balls, especially Go routes, barely tap the button and let your WR or whoever is going deep do the rest. Yes you can use the joystick to try to push it some but you don’t have to use it. The rest all comes down to the actual throw by your QB and if the skill player can catch it.
